GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ONLINE SALES

The General Terms and Conditions (« GTC ») below set out the terms of the binding agreement between the user (hereinafter referred to as "you" or "your") and the website www.striplink.com hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", "our", "(the) company" or "STRIPLINK"), registered in the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number 912 626 082 and located at 61 rue Guy Môquet, 75017 Paris.

Before ordering any item on our website www.striplink.com, we invite you to carefully read the entirety of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.

1. GENERAL

These GTC apply to all sales agreements concluded between the company STRIPLINK (« STRIPLINK ») and the user, understood as a consumer pursuant to the Consumer Code, i.e. any individual who acts for purposes that do not fall within the scope of their commercial, industrial, craft, liberal or agricultural activity (« user », « you ») on the basis of orders placed via our website.

When you order products (« products ») on the website www.striplink.com, you unreservedly accept and agree to comply with the GTC. If you refuse to accept the GTC, you will not be able to place an order on our website.

2. PURCHASE TERMS

You may only purchase products from our website if you are a user understood as an end consumer. If you are a professional reseller or distributor, you may not make purchases.
We reserve the right to cancel or reject orders that appear to have been placed by professional resellers or distributors.

We restrict purchases on our site to adults. By accepting these terms and conditions, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. STRIPLINK cannot be held responsible for any misrepresentation of the age of users.

3. ORDER PROCESS

Customer account 

You can purchase products on the website www.striplink.com with or without creating a customer account.

In order to create a new account on the website, you must correctly complete the fields of the registration form and choose a personal and confidential password. You must also confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy Page available on the site and confirm your registration. Registration for the newsletter is optional. You can subscribe to our newsletter on our homepage or by placing an order;

After registering on the website, you will receive an e-mail confirming the creation of your customer account and welcoming you to the e-mail address indicated in the registration form.

You can delete your account at any time in the following way:
My Account > "Personal Information" > "Delete my account". Upon receipt of the confirmation notice, all contractual relationships between you and STRIPLINK - with the exception of orders already submitted prior to the deletion request - will be considered terminated and the login credentials will be deleted.

The ordering process

The user chooses the different products of their choice and adds them to their basket by clicking on « Add to cart ».

At any time, you can:

- Check the number of products in the basket, the price of the products and the total amount by clicking on the "bag" icon
- Continue your product selection by clicking on the «
Continue shopping » button,
- Complete your order by clicking on the «
Check out » button.

If you already have a customer account, you can identify yourself after clicking on the « Check out » button, by entering your e-mail address and your password by clicking on the link « Log in ».

You will then be asked to indicate the delivery address for the products and to select a delivery method from those listed in Article 7.

Once this step has been completed, you are invited to choose a payment method from among those listed in Article 5 and to specify the billing address if it is different from the delivery address. You will not be able to click on "Finalise and pay my order" without having accepted these GTC by ticking the box provided for this purpose.

At any time during these steps, the details of your basket will appear.

The contract of sale between STRIPLINK and you is formed when your order is confirmed.

Between the moment you pay for your order and STRIPLINK sending you the order confirmation e- mail: "Merci for your order", STRIPLINK reserves the right not to accept the order in the event of:
- Dispute(s) between us;
- Total or partial non-payment of one or more of the previous orders;
- Refusal of payment authorization by banking institutions;
- Problem with stock;
- Professional resellers or distributors;

Once the order is ready for shipment, we will send you an e-mail with all the tracking information.

If a product is unavailable after the order has been placed, only the price and shipping costs for the available products will be charged. STRIPLINK will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible of the unavailable products and the corresponding amount will be reimbursed on the payment method used for the order.

4. PRICE

The prices of the products are given in Euros.

Our prices are displayed inclusive of all taxes (incl. VAT) for orders to European Union countries. The amount of tax varies from one country to another, in particular due to the application of a different VAT rate. We are obliged to apply the VAT of the country of destination, so the final price including VAT may be recalculated depending on the country of delivery.

For orders to countries outside the European Union, the prices are indicated exclusive of tax (excl. VAT). These orders are subject to any taxes and customs duties in the country of destination.

As mentioned previously, you will not be required to pay any taxes or customs duties on orders to Mainland France and European Union countries. Here are the addresses which are subject to taxes and customs duties:
- In any other country outside the European Union
- In overseas departments/regions and communities (DOM and COM)

The total amount you will have to pay is beyond our control. These costs must be paid by the recipient of the package.
If you refuse the parcel due to additional customs duties being charged on receipt, STRIPLINK reserves the right not to reimburse the amount of shipping costs once the package is back in its warehouse.

The prices given on the website do not include delivery costs which are to be borne by the user. 

 

STRIPLINK reserves the right to change the price of products and to change, limit or terminate any special offer, promotion or discount at any time.

STRIPLINK applies the prices in effect as indicated on the website at the time of your order. Please always check the price before placing your order.

5. METHODS OF PAYMENT

STRIPLINK uses payment service providers to process transactions made via the website. The price must be paid at the time of the order.

You can pay for your order with one of the following payment methods: - Credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, CB
- ShopPay
- PayPal
- AmazonPay
- ApplePay

We use industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to enable encryption of your payment details such as your identity, address, and credit card details.

6. CANCELLING AND CHANGING AN ORDER

Once your order is placed, you can change or cancel your order if it has not already been sent to you. You can cancel your order by sending us a message at customerservice@striplink.com or from your customer account under the heading "My Orders" . If your order has already been shipped, you will not be able to cancel your order.

Once your order has been placed, you have twenty-four (24) hours if you wish to cancel it. Once this period has passed, it can no longer be cancelled.

Once the cancellation of the order has been registered by our services and according to your bank’s normal deadlines, please allow a minimum of five (5) working days to receive the refund. If we are only able to process part of your order, payment will be taken for the whole of your order, and upon dispatch of the goods, a refund of the unavailable goods will be made.

Once the order has been shipped, it can no longer be changed. If you wish to change the content of the order, the method of payment or the delivery address, you can always cancel your order as explained above.

7. PRICES AND DELIVERIES

Once your payment has been confirmed, we process and deliver your order to the carrier within an average of 48 hours to 5 days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays).
Once your order has been handed over to the carrier, you must add the delivery time. This time depends on the chosen transport solution and your delivery address.

You will be able to follow the progress of your parcel at any time thanks to the tracking number communicated after your order has been shipped.

STRIPLINK offers the UPS services for all deliveries. Please note that delivery times and return delays can be extended up to 72 working hours while sales or inventories periods.

You will be responsible for the cost of delivery of the products and any taxes and customs duties referred to in Article 4.

Delivery costs and times vary according to the amount of the order, the country of destination and the type of delivery.
The applicable delivery costs are mentioned on the site in the Shipping Methods and Returns & Refunds pages.

8. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL, RETURN AND REFUND

Pursuant to Article L.221-18 of the French Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of fifteen (15) days from receipt of the Order to exercise their right of withdrawal from STRIPLINK, without having to give reasons for their decision.
However, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for contracts for the sale of goods which have been unsealed by the consumer after delivery and which cannot be returned for reasons of hygiene or health protection, according to Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code.

Due to the intimate nature of lingerie items and in accordance with applicable laws, we regret to inform our customers that we are unable to accept returns on products once the package has been unsealed or exchanges. This policy is in place to ensure the health and safety of all our customers, as well as to comply with hygiene standards and regulations governing the sale of intimate apparel. We recommend carefully reviewing product details, sizing information, and consulting our customer service team prior to making a purchase to ensure complete satisfaction with your order. Unless the product is defective or the wrong item or size was received, and such claims must be reported within 15 days of receiving the order, accompanied by photographic evidence, in adherence to our terms and conditions.

In the case of an order for several products delivered separately, the deadline shall run from the receipt of the last product.

You can exercise your right of withdrawal by following the steps below on our Returns & Refunds page.

Without prejudice to your statutory right of withdrawal, you have a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of first presentation of the package to inform us of your wish to return. Once we have received your return notice, you have fourteen (14) days to return the item(s) to us.

Any package that has been unsealed will not be refunded.

If you do not inform us about your wish of return, you have a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of first presentation of the package to return it.

After this period, we do not accept returns of unwanted items. If you attempt to make a return, we may be forced to send it back to you and ask you to pay for the delivery costs.

Returned products that fail to comply with these conditions will be returned to you at your expense.
The return of the product(s) is at the customer's expense and risk.

Reimbursement are made by re-crediting the bank card.

As long as the return conditions are met, the processing time by our services is 5 to 10 working days, starting from the receipt of the order in our warehouse. However, this period may be extended depending on the processing time of your bank or if the return requires additional control.

Exchanges are not possible. For a new size or a different model, we invite you to reorder.

11. APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION

These GTCs are governed and interpreted according to French law, without prejudice to the application of more protective provisions of the user's local law. The competent court in the event of a dispute shall be that of the defendant's place of residence or, at the choice of the plaintiff, the place of actual delivery of the Product.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All contents of the website (including but not limited to illustrations, photographs, images, text, data, names, trademarks, and videos) are the exclusive property of STRIPLINK, its contractors or partners. These contents are governed by copyright, trademark, foreign copyright laws and other intellectual property rights.

Any reproduction of this content, in whole or in part, by any means, requires the prior written consent of STRIPLINK. You may not attach or download content from the website without the written consent of STRIPLINK.

13. EXCLUSION OF THE GUARANTEE

In accordance with Article 1148 of the French Civil Code, STRIPLINK shall not be liable for any delay in delivery and/or damage resulting from force majeure as provided by the case law of the French courts.

Use of the website is on an "as is" basis and STRIPLINK reserves the right to change the content without notice.

However, we make every effort to ensure the accuracy, usability, and completeness of the website. Nevertheless, STRIPLINK shall not be liable for any malfunctioning due to maintenance work, technical failures, interruptions of the Internet network, force majeure, third party action and any other circumstances whatsoever.

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusions of warranties, so the above may not apply to you.

15. AMENDMENTS TO THE GTC

STRIPLINK reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time and without prior notice if these are necessary to comply with new legal provisions, to adapt the terms and conditions to STRIPLINK's sales procedures or for technical reasons. The terms and conditions applicable at the time the order is placed shall apply. Updated versions of the GTC shall be published on the website www.striplink.com.
